Haunted Halloween 2026 | Echo Bosses Release & Awakened Encounters | Master Clues & QOL Fixes

Halloween returns to GrinderScape with The Reaper's Missing Midnight, new Echo encounters and Awakened Desert Treasure II bosses. This update also brings new equipment editions, progression rewards, Castle Wars bots and a wide range of gameplay and client improvements.

Halloween 2026 - The Reaper's Missing Midnight:

  • Join Death in an expanded Halloween Hijinks adventure to restore the harvest wards, hunt Abomination and The Mimic, and help reclaim the missing midnight.
  • Continue the story with a private Dark ankou hunt, an awakened quest lantern and a haunted manor containing three saved objectives.
  • Complete the final midnight ritual with glowing wards, clear floor warnings and safe retries before the Halloween celebration.
  • Finish this year's story to earn the 2026 Halloween achievement, Grim reaper outfit, spooky pumpkin lantern, spooky chair and two noted pumpkins. The chair can follow you for a short visit or perform a haunting spin.
  • After the quest, take part in an optional community ghost vigil. Help in all three waves through combat or spirit rescue to earn community pumpkins, with a marked guide, clear countdown and Start now option.
  • Death offers travel to each objective and replacements for earned quest tools. The quest lantern can be carried or wielded, provides objective hints and offers a return to camp.
  • Improved the quest journal, conversations and lantern hints to explain the next objective, saved checkpoints and lost-item recovery. Death can also replace earned quest notes and his diary without another recorded boss victory.
  • Haunted manor tasks remain completed when leaving or reconnecting. Expanded the manor, restored its doors and improved the route to the library and saved objectives.
  • Added guidance arrows for quest encounters and community rescue spirits, and clarified travel, rescue and harvest reward messages so they match your progress.
  • Improved Halloween travel and keyhole exits. Players can leave the Dark ankou hunt when ready and escape The Mimic during combat, while Draynor travel arrives in the village for underground exploration.
  • Quest boss items now appear as personal ground drops alongside normal loot. Improved the final ritual's altar placement, prayer animation and sound.
  • Completion rewards that do not fit in your inventory now go to the collection box. Fixed the spooky chair failing to return when both your inventory and collection box are full.
  • The Grim Reaper's seasonal shop offers classic Halloween cosmetics, including costume sets, the haunted bottle, wig and lantern. Cosmetics available from The Mimic have been removed from the shop.
  • Fixed confusing conversations that referred players back to the NPC they were already speaking to, and made lost-tool recovery clearer throughout the quest.

Halloween Atmosphere & Seasonal Improvements:

  • Added a Pumpkin dusk login theme with warm lighting, lavender mist, flying bats and a softer copper Halloween logo with a carved pumpkin and cobwebs.
  • The login form now has subtle plum stone, copper edging, cobwebs and warm button highlights. Grass and earth receive a light autumn tint while stonework and floor brightness stay clear.
  • Restored seasonal town appearances, including pumpkin-headed bankers, costumed shopkeepers and eerie undead trees that retain their usual interactions. Female bankers now join the festivities, and more shopkeepers wear skeleton, gravedigger and Grim Reaper costumes.
  • Death now occasionally speaks to nearby visitors and casts eerie effects around the camp. Corrected his facing direction and restored the Vampyre juvinates' rival fights and overhead chatter.
  • Halloween lanterns now use matching carrying animations while standing and moving. Pumpkin harvest messages remain readable on both parchment and transparent chat backgrounds.
  • Fixed broken punctuation in pumpkin descriptions and players walking through the pumpkin storage bin. Seasonal event NPCs now stay hidden when the event is disabled.

Echo Boss Encounters:

  • Challenge private, repeatable Echo encounters through the Echo keeper at home.
  • The roster includes Kalphite Queen, Cerberus, King Black Dragon, Dagannoth Kings, Grotesque Guardians and Thermonuclear smoke devil, alongside Hespori, Corrupted Hunllef and Amoxliatl.
  • Echo fights introduce lightning patterns, ghost barrages, shadow-dragon shields, rotating protections, Guardian flame walls and resonance-based attacks.
  • The expanded encounters include flower protections, shield phases, tornadoes, icicles and arena hazards.
  • Updated the Demonic Pacts variants' appearances and combat effects, including the correct Echo name and model for King Black Dragon.
  • Improved protection phases and overhead prayer displays. Protection icons no longer remain visible while inactive or incorrectly return after re-entering an encounter.
  • Fixed damage reaching Echo Kalphite Queen during her transformation, improved shield and Hespori flower protections, and made arena cleanup more reliable between fights and when leaving.

Awakened Desert Treasure II Bosses:

  • Use Awakener's orbs to challenge Awakened Duke Sucellus, The Leviathan, Vardorvis and The Whisperer.
  • Awakened Duke Sucellus: Added bile trails and a sweeping orb attack.
  • Awakened Leviathan: Added a pursuing tornado to keep players moving.
  • Awakened Vardorvis: Added extra axes and paired head attacks.
  • Awakened Whisperer: Added longer attack volleys and shadow-realm challenges.
  • Improved the regular encounters' combat stats, attack timing, shadow stuns and cleanup. The Whisperer now includes sanity, shadow-realm specials and its final enrage phase.
  • The Whisperer now drops damaged Virtus pieces that match its Collection Log. Drop rates remain unchanged.

Rewards & Progression:

Skill Prestige Rewards:

  • Prestige level-99 skills for platinum-token cash rewards, with a separate base reward and fixed repeat increase for each skill. There is no ten-prestige limit.
  • Firemaking starts at 2B GP, combat stats at 10B GP and Prayer at 15B GP. Each repeat adds a fixed percentage of that skill's original base reward.
  • Construction now starts at 20B GP with a fixed 30% increase per repeat, Hunter at 8B with 18%, and Farming at 9B with 20%.
  • Game-mode bonuses increase payouts, including 70% more cash for Realism. XP above level 99 now earns an additional bonus that grows gradually up to 200 million XP using the skill's base reward and repeat increase.
  • Choose Prestige on the Demonic Pacts League board to open the rewards interface. Updated the instructions and removed the outdated Leagues option from prestige menus.
  • The preview shows your next reward, XP bonus, mode bonus and starting level before confirmation. Reward amounts use clearer billion and million labels, up to two decimal places and improved spacing.
  • Prestiging resets only the selected skill to its starting level, including level 10 for Hitpoints and level 3 for Herblore. Existing League Points, perks and sigils are retained.
  • Very large payouts keep remaining platinum tokens saved for later claims. Prestige announcements show the skill, prestige count and reward earned.
  • Fixed confirmations staying open after a choice, reward and status messages appearing in the wrong place, and valid prestige resets failing to save or leaving players unable to move.

Collection Log Completion Rewards:

  • Completing an eligible Collection Log now earns a one-time random reward, including mystery boxes, Cursed Relic Chests, Royal Vaults, 2B-5B in platinum tokens or a $10 bond.
  • Raid logs, Quest Rewards, The Gauntlet and Fortis Colosseum award double quantities. Completing every quest also earns a separate double reward.
  • Previously completed eligible logs can receive their rewards by opening them.
  • Rewards go to your inventory or collection box. If both are full, the reward waits until you make room and reopen the log.
  • Completion announcements now show the reward received and its quantity.

Master Clue Scrolls:

  • Master clue scrolls now offer 6-9 steps drawn from ten map, digging and NPC clues.
  • Master caskets can award Samurai, Mummy and robes of darkness pieces, the Obsidian cape (r) and supplies. Rewards are tracked in a new Master Treasure Trails Collection Log.
  • King Black Dragon, Cerberus and Kalphite Queen now drop master clues in place of elite clues at their existing chances.

Earned Titles:

  • Unlock 17 new titles through boss kills, minigames, skilling, pet collecting and voting, and browse them in the title chooser.
  • Added Master Miner, Fearless Runner, The Pestilent, Venomwalker, Godwars Menace, Zookeeper and Voting Legend.
  • Added Hallowed Shadow, Delvebound, Bullbreaker, Grand Architect, Guild Greenfinger, Rumourmonger, Harvest Warden, Crystalbound, Frostfire Keeper and Void Vanguard.
  • Zookeeper recognises pet families across stored pets and followers, with recolours and duplicate copies counting together.
  • Added six title effects featuring runite gleams, hallowed wisps, venom mist, tiny falling coins, drifting leaves and ancient sigils.

Skilling Tasks & Wintertodt:

  • Track skilling assignments in a dedicated sidebar with skill icons, task details, progress bars, search and an assigned-task filter.
  • Skill hover tooltips show task progress and ready-to-claim reminders. Information stays current throughout the session, including when the plugin is enabled, with smoother fonts, larger details and clearer contrast.
  • Wintertodt supply crates now make outfit pieces, tomes, gloves, torches, the dragon axe and Phoenix easier to obtain. A rare reward averages around every seven crates, while the axe and Phoenix remain longer-term rewards.

Equipment & Custom Editions:

Hallow Equipment Collection:

  • Added Hallow editions of Torva, Pernix, Virtus, Angelic cape, Ancestral, Tumeken's shadow, Twisted bow, Masori, Darkmeyer and Scythe of vitur, retaining their combat effects and utilities.
  • The collection has matching charcoal, pumpkin-orange and violet animated finishes, matching banknotes and a carved-pumpkin mystery box. Refined Darkmeyer's gold accents and the Angelic cape's contrasting borders.
  • The Hallow mystery box awards exactly one of the collection's 24 pieces with equal chances and a matching reward preview.
  • Hallow Shadow and Scythe require no charges. The Hallow Twisted bow still uses arrows.

Boss, Crystal & Void Rift Editions:

  • Added themed Nightmare, Seren, Prifddinas, Vorkath, Verzik, Nex, TzHaar and Mort Myre collections, including banknotes, compatible mixed armour sets and their equipment effects.
  • Added matching custom finishes, with smooth colour-shifting accents for selected collections.
  • Prifddinas Crystal armour and Bow of faerdhinen never lose their power. The Verzik Sanguinesti staff's powered attack requires no charges or blood runes and retains its healing effect.
  • Added Void Rift Pernix cowl, body and chaps with banknotes, normal Pernix bonuses and protection from all four God Wars factions. The set uses charcoal panels, silver details and slowly shifting violet-blue accents.

Barrows & Pestilence Editions:

  • Added Blood Moon Dharok, Morytania Guthan and Zaros Ahrim editions, alongside Raven Karil, Imcando Torag and Hallowed Verac, with matching appearances and banknotes.
  • The new Barrows editions never degrade and retain their usual set effects, including applicable Gloves of the damned bonuses. Karil still uses bolt racks, and ordinary Ahrim spells still use runes.
  • Added Pestilence Elite Void and Superior void (pestilence). Superior void includes all three combat helmets with matching dark-jade armour and violet animated accents.
  • Superior void retains its set bonuses and normal break, repair and protection rules, with matching broken and protected appearances.

More Armour & Weapon Editions:

  • Added Araxxor, Phosani, Ectofuntus, Sunfire, Brimstone, Sol and Olm equipment editions with their matching combat effects, special attacks and custom finishes.
  • Sunfire Tonalztics requires no charges and can be checked from inventory or worn equipment to confirm its permanent power. Ordinary staff spells still use runes.
  • Added Inferno Obsidian armour, Whisper Venator bow, Sire Abyssal bludgeon, Elidinis Fang, Zamorak dragon claws, Icyene Saradomin godsword and TzHaar Elder maul editions with banknotes and their normal equipment effects.
  • Whisper Venator bow never needs ancient essence. It still uses arrows, retains its ricochet attack against NPCs and offers a clear power check.
  • The modern Elder maul and its TzHaar edition can use Pulverize: 50% special energy, 25% increased accuracy and a 35% reduction to the target's current Defence on a damaging hit.
  • New editions appear in the Customs display. Equipment stats shows their set bonuses, passives, utilities and special attacks clearly, including costs, without repeating ordinary equipment bonuses as additional effects.
  • Permanent Barrows pieces and the Whisper Venator bow no longer offer obsolete charging actions.

Combat, Bosses & Minigames:

Doom of Mokhaiotl:

  • Players can teleport out of delves and collect unclaimed rewards from the loot pile outside. Claim & Leave now works with a full inventory, with overflow rewards remaining available outside, including Dom when another pet is following.
  • Improved larva spawning near Doom and during shield transitions to give players more room to react in deeper delves. Shield-phase larvae arrive consistently from one direction, and survivors remain present when Doom moves during the car phase.
  • Acid blood now scatters across a wider area in one direction per delve, and acid pools use venom damage splats.
  • Corrected Doom's moving position during the car phase and improved projectile travel, impacts and falling-debris visuals.
  • Improved car-phase landing and slam timing so the earthquake follows its visible windup.
  • Fixed delayed attacks and encounter damage reaching players after they leave, including an overlap shove interrupting an exit. The delve-entry message no longer blocks movement and clicks.
  • Fixed the shield colour lingering after shield phase and health, shield and charge bars interfering with one another's appearance or fill.
  • Uncharged Eyes of Ayak can be dismantled for 10,000 demon tears after confirmation.

Castle Wars:

  • Added bots that capture flags, defend their castle, support teammates and fight alongside players.
  • Bots can react to matches, have short conversations with nearby players and invite clan members to join games.
  • Fixed bandages healing the wrong player and restoring too little health. Improved flag cleanup, lobby balancing, ropes, barricades and tunnel interactions.
  • Fixed bots retiring after carrying a flag instead of re-equipping their combat gear.

Combat & Boss Rewards:

  • Alchemical Hydra can now drop hydra leather, which is tracked in the Collection Log. Use it on the machinery in Lithkren Vault with a hammer to make Ferocious gloves, or use the machinery to revert the gloves to leather.
  • Branda can now drop a rare Tome of fire and Eldric a rare Tome of water at Royal Titans.
  • Use desiccated pages on a fire or water tome to convert them into burnt or soaked pages one for one, without consuming the tome or changing its charges.
  • Fixed special attack energy recovering twice as quickly after login and earlier overload doses ending the effects of a newer dose.
  • Armoured zombie acid pools now deal contact damage even when the player is immune to venom, using a poison damage splat.

Construction & Player-Owned Houses:

House Features & Fixes:

  • Fixed leaving a house sometimes preventing re-entry until relogging.
  • Portal Nexus destinations no longer apply quest requirements that do not belong on GrinderScape, and their displayed Magic and material requirements are corrected.
  • Dungeon doors now open both halves and stop blocking passage. Restored the Sit-on action on Demonic thrones.
  • Connected rooms can now be built beside a neighbour's solid wall without unrelated doorway openings blocking placement.
  • Stored pets now appear correctly in the pet-house list, and refreshing the menu preserves its contents.
  • Combat dummies now face the direction of their installed furniture.
  • Fixed hired servants failing to appear after entering or rebuilding a house and leaving the bell-pull stuck saying the servant was not ready.

Construction Shops & Prices:

  • Family crests now cost 45M GP, with the Money crest at 250M. Maps cost 5M each, portraits 33.2M and paintings 140M.
  • Aligned Keldagrim Stonemason prices with Construction Supplies. Limestone bricks cost 7.2M GP, and both stores stock condensed gold for 1,089,138,311 GP.
  • Garden Supplies and Garden Centre purchase prices have increased by 1,000 times. Fixed the Falador Garden supplier's Trade action, with the Garden Centre also available through dialogue.
  • Adjusted house redecoration prices, with higher-tier themes costing up to 50B GP.

Client, Chat & Interfaces:

Messaging & Chatbox:

  • Restored Message on friends and Tab-to-reply in the OSRS chatbox. Sent private messages now appear correctly in chat history, and reply prompts show a clean recipient name.
  • Fixed split private messages also appearing in All chat and restored the Chat Filter's repeat-message counts and filtering.
  • Restored copy, cut, paste and select-all shortcuts in the OSRS chatbox and its input prompts.
  • Dialogue and input boxes no longer stretch across an enlarged transparent chatbox, and walking away clears open prompts correctly.
  • Trade, duel and gambling requests now show the player's name and correct text colour, with their Accept actions restored.
  • Friend and ignore actions now use a single name prompt without delayed text resets, and correctly prevent adding your own account.
  • Broadcasts and private messages now follow the collapsed chatbox in resizable mode. The emoji button and picker hide with it, and private-message and broadcast links are easier to click accurately.
  • Escape now closes the bank while searching, and the Escape-close preference remains saved after relaunch.

Dialogue & Interface Readability:

  • Improved longer NPC, player, item and message dialogues with readable pages instead of awkward spacing, overlapping names or text covering the Continue button.
  • Fixed cut-off text and awkward wrapping in Hunter Guild, farming and aerial fishing conversations while preserving normal choices and conversation flow.
  • Voting rewards and other dialogues now show coloured text instead of visible colour codes.
  • Restored the Construction icon in the Book of Knowledge and shared lamp-selection interface.

Graphics & Client Reliability:

  • Improved GPU and HD rendering during login and area changes, fixed area loading failing on empty objects and corrected an issue that could interrupt interface updates during login.
  • A failed graphics-mode switch now returns to the latest working mode instead of treating an unsuccessful switch as working.
  • If HD fails to start or stops after an error, players now receive a copyable report to share with support.
  • Fixed incorrect NPC colours, textures and models after custom appearances are updated, and improved loading reliability and support for special characters in text commands.
  • Outdated clients are directed to download the latest version before logging in.

General Fixes & Quality of Life:

  • Fixed large item deliveries losing part of a reward when inventory space ran out, and partial ground-item pickups removing items that should remain available.
  • Fixed invalid custom bank-withdrawal amounts clearing a stored item stack.
  • Membership renewals now extend the paid time remaining, with matching previews and fractional days retained during renewals and upgrades.
  • Fixed timed rewards losing part of their duration when an earlier effect had already expired.
  • The Infinite money bag now provides one coin per game tick while carried or worn, with no quest requirement. Restored its inventory actions and added a confirmation before destruction.
  • Long and curved bones now provide only Prayer experience when buried or offered at an altar, with updated examine descriptions explaining their use.
  • Fixed clan chats failing to load after a server restart and Diomin bonus chickens stopping their roaming when players moved away.
  • An extra 24 hours of login-streak protection applied on October 6 to account for the server outage. This was a temporary allowance for that date.

CONSTRUCTION RELEASE | Doom of Mokhaiotl & Brutus | Fortis Colosseum | The Gauntlet & TONS OF FIXES!

A huge batch of new content, reworks, improvements and fixes has arrived!

Brutus & Demonic Brutus:

  • Brutus arrives with a private farm arena, automatic respawns, kill tracking, personal bests and five new achievements.
  • Challenge normal Brutus through the cow pen gate, or use an Abyssal potato on the gate to enter Demonic Brutus. Entry now has a protected transition, and leaving the pen asks for confirmation.
  • Brutus, Demonic Brutus and the ghost form are 25% weak to earth spells.
  • Rewards include Mooleta, Cow slippers, Bull bones, t-bone steaks, the Bottomless milk bucket and Beef the pet. Drops are included in the Boss Drop Tables and Collection Log, with kills tracked on the website highscores.
  • The Bottomless milk bucket can hold up to 10,000 uses of a supported milk product and can be filled directly from dairy cows.
  • Bull bones can be buried straight from the ground for Prayer experience. Abyssal potatoes can also be eaten for a small temporary Strength boost.
  • Improved the farm's cows and chickens, entry effects and loot notifications. Brutus now has a boss-list teleport with useful information about the encounter and rewards.

Doom of Mokhaiotl:

  • Take on deeper delves and choose when to claim your rewards or risk them on the next fight.
  • Rewards include the uncharged Eye of ayak and Dom the pet. Dom can appear from delve 6 onward, with better chances at deeper delves, and remains at risk until claimed.
  • Improved the earthen shield, melee punish, rock throws, larvae and burrowing phases, including more consistent behavior in deeper delves.
  • Fixed acid carrying between delves and improved shield protection and clearing. Melee-punish finishes now restore Hitpoints, Prayer and special energy correctly, while special energy pauses between fights.
  • Unique rewards make the burrow hole glow, with clearer warnings before risking valuable loot. Unclaimed items remain available when your inventory is full.
  • Added Mokhaiotl waystone use and a small charge refill for eligible Eyes of ayak after clearing a delve.
  • Added personal delve records on the lobby scoreboard, searchable boss drops, Collection Log tracking, website kill highscores and a boss-list teleport.
  • Improved the entrance jump, scoreboard headings, lobby and encounter music, and burrowing and defeat animations so their sounds can finish properly.

Full Construction Skill:

  • Full Construction is now available. Build and customise your own Player-Owned House with rooms, furniture and useful house facilities.
  • Craft furniture and flatpacks, use servants, and complete Construction contracts to earn Carpentry Points and rewards.
  • Manage your rooms through the House Viewer, advertise your house for visitors, and relocate or redecorate through Estate Agents.
  • Added Lunar Plank Make at 86 Magic for regular, oak, teak and mahogany logs. It supports automatic casting, faster manual casting and plank conversion at 30% below the usual sawmill price.
  • Plank Make supports money-pouch coins, rune pouches, elemental staves and sawmill vouchers. Cost confirmations can be turned off for each wood type.
  • Workshop crafting, flatpacks, sawmills and servant plank making now use clearer quantity menus, including 1, 5, 10, X and All.
  • Fixed Estate Agent and sawmill options so Construction contracts, rewards, plank conversion and supplies open correctly.
  • Servants can now be called while building. Fixed door hotspots ignoring Build clicks, with clearer guidance when there is no space to expand.
  • Fixed the House Viewer's Go to Portal option, kept the viewer open when room deletion is declined, and improved house-list refreshes and empty-list messages.
  • Magical pumpkins can now be removed in build mode. Improved upstairs floor edges, building hotspots and furniture collision.
  • The Construction cape now offers a destination menu for your home and all nine house portals, whether carried or worn. Tele to POH takes you directly home.
  • Construction progress was reset to level 1 with zero experience for this release, and Construction tomes have been removed from shops.

Hallowed Sepulchre:

  • A new Agility course with five floors of timed traps, coffin loot and Hallowed marks.
  • Improved pillar jumps and platform crossings so players land in the right place, without an unnecessary extra step on floor 3.
  • Added the correct lobby and course music, floor-completion jingles, and missing sounds for grapples, repairs, lockpicking, offerings and other course actions.
  • Fixed the opening sound of lightning-statue attacks and a GPU crash that could occur when entering the course.

Collection Log Redesign:

  • The Collection Log has been fully rebuilt with an OSRS-style layout, improved categories, item search and a clearer progress overview.
  • View category totals, recent unlocks and activity counts, with your Collection Log points also shown on the Top 10 display.
  • Expanded tracking for new bosses, Hunter Guild rewards and other activities. Previously obtained eligible Hunter Guild items are recognised, and Quetzin counts in both the Hunter Guild and Skilling Pets logs.
  • Fixed missing Wintertodt uniques and quantities, including burnt pages, and added a saved Crates Opened count for crates opened from this update onward.
  • Fixed incomplete Collection Log windows when opening the interface or changing window modes.

The Gauntlet & Corrupted Gauntlet:

  • Added Normal and Corrupted solo runs. Explore a random dungeon, gather resources, defeat preparation monsters, and craft your weapons, armour, food and potions before facing Hunllef.
  • Normal runs give you 10 minutes to prepare; Corrupted runs give you 7 minutes 30 seconds and offer a tougher fight with better rewards.
  • Survive Hunllef's prayer changes, chasing tornadoes and dangerous floor tiles while switching your own attacks and protection prayers.
  • Rewards include crystal shards, crystal weapon and armour seeds, enhanced crystal weapon seeds and Youngllef.
  • Added recipe guides, reward-chest collection and a scoreboard for completions, recorded deaths and full-run best times.

Fortis Colosseum: Sol Heredit Fixes:

  • Improved Sol's entrance, landing effects, death animation and sound timing. The reward chest now appears after the defeat sequence finishes.
  • Victory rewards, including the uncharged Dizana's quiver, are secured in a saved reward chest rather than requiring immediate collection.
  • Players can collect individual rewards, take rewards into their inventory or send them to the bank. Unclaimed rewards remain saved when leaving or logging out and can be collected through the Colosseum entrance.
  • Minimus now helps players leave or challenge Sol again after victory. Pending rewards must be collected before starting another challenge.
  • Improved reward-chest placement so it does not appear around the player and trap them, and corrected arena scenery collision and cleanup.
  • Improved completion, personal-best, Collection Log and reward handling, including keeping earned rewards available when inventory space is limited.

New Attack Tab:

  • Replaced the old attack tab with the OSRS-style combat interface, showing your equipped weapon, weapon category and available attack styles.
  • Attack-style selections are remembered for each weapon when switching equipment.
  • Auto-retaliate and special attacks can be controlled from the new tab, with the special-energy display kept up to date.
  • Staff users can choose normal or defensive autocast from the tab, then select their spell through the spellbook.
  • Improved special-attack information for supported weapons, including matching descriptions and energy costs for Gilded tools and the Kingsbane Soulreaper axe.

New Client Plugins & Gameplay Helpers:

Find the new helpers in the RuneLite plugin list and choose the displays and highlights that suit your playstyle.

  • The Gauntlet: Preparation and run timers, resource counts, gathering highlights and monster highlights for both challenge modes.
  • Gauntlet Minimap: Icons for discovered resources and demi-bosses, with optional gathering targets that hide resources once enough have been collected.
  • Hallowed Sepulchre Helper: Floor and run timers, active trap warnings, and arrow and sword highlights.
  • Slayer: Track remaining task targets and highlight monsters that count toward your assignment.
  • Barrows: Track the brothers, identify grave mounds and highlight useful crypt objects.
  • Tithe Farm: Plant highlights and growth timers that follow watering, fertiliser and harvest stages, alongside fruit, points and watering supplies.
  • Motherlode Mine: Useful highlights and a summary of sack capacity, carried pay-dirt, the processing queue and water-wheel repairs.
  • Pest Control: Portal shield and health information, the next shield countdown and Spinner highlights.
  • Player-Owned House: Minimap icons for house teleport destinations and useful furniture, with settings to choose what appears. Icons follow built furniture across floors, room changes and visits to friends' houses.
  • Skybox: Optional regional sky colours and custom overworld or cave colours across 117 HD, 508 HDOS, GPU and software modes. Previous sky settings return when it is disabled.
  • 3D Weather: Optional sunny, cloudy, foggy and night atmospheres, clearer clouds and stars, and automatic weather changes.

Skybox and 3D Weather are disabled by default, so players can enable them when they want these visual effects.

Combat & Bosses:

  • Fixed Grotesque Guardians getting stuck during phase changes or finishing attacks, the roof bell disappearing, overlapping quick starts and duplicate damage. Improved prison escapes, special attacks and energy-sphere cleanup.
  • Completed Grotesque Guardians fights now count toward Gargoyle Slayer tasks, and on-task bonuses recognise both Dawn and Dusk.
  • Fixed Phosani's prayer curse ending too early, distant or inactive spores applying weariness, melee targeting, spore delays and red-flower healing.
  • Phosani now appears in Boss Drop Tables and NPC/item drop searches. Right-click Inspect opens her drops or combat guide, which is also available before entering.
  • Improved Glod's attack variety, group targeting and warning phases. Added a player-throw attack, reduced repeated control attacks, and fixed crossing the arena barrier and targeting players outside the fighting area.
  • Fixed God Wars private rooms opening without bosses or minions. Failed room creation no longer consumes the entry fee.
  • Sovereign Special's free first special attack now renews when God Wars bosses respawn.
  • Fixed Scythe of Vitur variants, including Emberfall, missing extra hits on large monsters. Sweeping attacks consistently respect the three-hit limit.
  • Charged Thammaron's sceptre now receives its intended 50% damage bonus against monsters in the Wilderness or while using Sigil of Revoked Limitation, for both its built-in attack and spells cast with it.
  • Fixed missing primary loot from Vardorvis and guaranteed coin rewards from Vardorvis and The Whisperer. Corrected drop-table displays and improved kill-count reliability.
  • Improved boss-loot placement on blocked arena edges and fixed nearby loot being unreachable or unavailable to Telegrab in private instances, including The Whisperer's lair.
  • Improved Giant Sea Snake group respawns after all snakes have been defeated.
  • Corrected poison effects on charged ranged weapons, Toxic blowpipe venom and Fumus' Vow. Nex is now immune to poison and venom throughout the fight.
  • Regular anti-venom now gives the correct protection durations: 36-54 seconds against venom and 12 minutes 18 seconds against poison.
  • Fixed degradable equipment breaking during protected deaths in safe areas or minigames, and upgraded items losing their tier after becoming damaged or uncharged and being repaired.

Skills & Minigames:

  • Added Pyramid Plunder with urn and chest rewards, a timer, scarabs, mummies and tomb hazards.
  • Tithe Farm now awards 2.5x points from fruit deposits. Gricoller's fertiliser remains reusable, and watering cans can be refilled by using them on the farm's water barrels.
  • Reworked the Ranging Guild competition with visible shot results, score and shot counts, accuracy based on Ranged level and equipment, and experience based on the score earned.
  • Ranging Guild shots use a compatible bow and equipped bronze arrows. The competition fee can be paid from inventory coins, the money pouch or both.
  • Competition rewards now give 1 Archery ticket per 10 score. Rewards remain available from the judge if your inventory is full, and the restocked shops show your ticket balance.
  • Fixed Blast Furnace ore getting stuck or stacking visually on the conveyor after interruptions. Processing resumes when the furnace is funded and has room.
  • Fixed Wintertodt reward crates missing items or stopping after a duplicate Phoenix roll. Warm gloves, Hunter outfits, Tomes of fire and Bruma torches now provide the intended cold protection, with equipped warmth shown on entry.
  • Pest Control portals now have much lower Magic resistance, making Magic more useful with mid-level gear and in larger teams. Their resistance no longer increases across repeated games.
  • Diomin teams now split cash and Honour according to damage contribution, with a ranked summary after the run. Leaving early forfeits your share; cash payouts, including chicken bonuses, were reduced while Honour remains unchanged.
  • Brimhaven now offers a complete randomly coloured Graceful set for 250 Marks of grace. Added Adventurer's and Varlamore sets with 75% and 80% bonus Agility experience, plus normal Graceful benefits.
  • Grace now directs players to Brimhaven for Graceful rewards instead of offering the previous upgrades.
  • Improved potion Make-All options for anti-venom upgrades, stamina potions and Barbarian mixes, with correct experience and progress. Forge Flood no longer skips brews, antidotes or other recipes when processing a full inventory.
  • Fletching arrow tasks now clearly describe batches of 15, and Farming only counts a raked patch once it is fully cleared.
  • Osman now helps with sq'irk juice supplies in Sorceress's Garden, including missing glasses and a pestle and mortar. Summer sq'irkjuice coin rewards were reduced by 40%.
  • Expanded website highscores for Fishing Trawler, Tithe Farm, Brimhaven Agility, Sorceress's Garden, Pyramid Plunder and eligible Wintertodt completions.

Hunter:

  • Completed Elnock's Puro-Puro services, including jar exchanges, magic butterfly nets, imp repellent, jar generators, daily jars, protected supply storage, quick withdrawals and a capture tracker.
  • Players can make an impling jar using imp repellent at the Rimmington lamp-oil still. The filled still keeps the player's supply until it is used.
  • Improved roaming impling locations and population replacement, corrected Puro-Puro variants, and fixed Ninja and Dragon spawn slots failing to replace caught implings.
  • Expanded Hunter Guild Rumour rewards, resource and coin payouts, streak progress and milestone rewards at 10, 25, 50, 100, 150 and 250 completions, including whistle blueprints, cooking unlocks and Apatura's key.

  • Improved Pyramid Plunder with the intended entrance, tomb-door, golden-chest, urn, snake-charm, and sarcophagus sounds.
  • Fixed trapped Pyramid Plunder chests always dealing the same damage.

  • Players can now make fifteen irit tar from a clean irit leaf and fifteen swamp tar with a pestle and mortar for Tecu salamander bait. The other swamp-tar recipes now follow the same correct batch behavior.
  • Fixed Rumour catches that could report no destination, fail after switching hunters, or be blocked silently by a rare part stored elsewhere.
  • Fixed an unsafe Chinchompa Island route that could place players inside a minigame and clear carried items. Non-participants are now moved out safely with their inventory and equipment intact.
  • The Hunter sigil's bonus Hunter experience is now visible on salamander and other non-chinchompa trap catches.
  • Fixed Mastering Mixology's order board and formula book so their interfaces now display correctly.

🌟 BIG UPDATE: 100% PROVABLY FAIR GAMBLING IS NOW LIVE!

Lou Owner · Aug 25, 2026
🌟 BIG UPDATE: 100% PROVABLY FAIR GAMBLING IS NOW LIVE!

🌟Transparent. Verifiable. Provably Fair.

Hey everyone,

Many of you have been asking why we recently introduced our new SHA-Based Fairness Verifier and what exactly it means for our gambling system.
The reason is simple: we want gambling on GrinderScape to be completely transparent and independently verifiable.

GrinderScape has been running since 2008. We aren't a temporary server that disappears after a year. We've been part of the RSPS community for nearly two decades, and protecting the integrity of our economy and gambling systems has always been extremely important to us.

Even years ago, when an older version of our source was leaked, players were able to see for themselves that our gambling systems used legitimate randomized outcomes rather than hidden mechanics designed to force players to lose.

Now, we're taking that transparency one step further.
Instead of simply asking players to trust us, our new system gives you the ability to verify the fairness of your games yourself.

🔍 How Provably Fair Gambling Works:

🎲 Outcomes Are Generated Before You Play:

For games such as Mines, the entire outcome is generated the moment you click Start.
This means the complete Mines board, including the location of every mine, already exists before you make your first selection.
Your clicks do not cause the server to secretly decide where a mine should appear.

🔒 The Outcome Is Cryptographically Locked:

The moment your game begins, the server creates a SHA-based cryptographic hash representing the committed game data.
Think of this hash as a digital fingerprint of the original outcome.
The server commits to the result at the beginning of the game. If the original game data were changed afterward, the hash would no longer match.
This makes it possible to prove that the outcome existed before you started playing.

🚫 No Mid-Game Rigging:

One of the biggest concerns players have with gambling systems is whether a server can manipulate an active game.
For example, imagine clicking a safe tile in Mines and the server secretly deciding at that moment to turn it into a mine.
With GrinderScape's provably fair system, the entire board has already been generated and cryptographically committed before you make your first move.
The server cannot simply rewrite the board afterward and still have the result successfully pass verification.

🔎 Verify Every Game Yourself:

Every supported gambling game generates its own game receipt / verification ID.
You can enter this ID directly into our public Fairness Verifier.
The verifier allows you to check that the revealed game information matches the cryptographic commitment that was created when the game originally started.

You don't have to take our word for it.
You can verify it yourself.

⚡ Why This Matters:

Many gambling systems simply tell their players:

"Trust us, it's random."
We wanted GrinderScape to go further than that.
GrinderScape doesn't just ask you to trust the system. We give you the tools to independently verify it.
Players who understand cryptocurrency casinos, cryptographic hashes, and provably fair technology will understand how valuable this level of transparency is.
For an RSPS, this is something we're extremely proud to introduce.

🛡️ Our Commitment:

GrinderScape has been online since 2008, and our goal has always been to build a server that players can continue enjoying for years.
As our gambling systems continue to expand, we believe the level of transparency should expand with them.
The new Fairness Verifier is another major step toward allowing players to clearly understand how our games operate and independently confirm that outcomes were committed before gameplay began.

🎰 100% Transparent Gambling:

✅ Pre-generated outcomes
✅ SHA-based cryptographic commitments
✅ No mid-game outcome manipulation
✅ Individual game receipts
✅ Public fairness verification
✅ Verify the results yourself

Good luck & enjoy the new gambling system! ❤️

MASSIVE GAMBLING EXPANSION, Fishing Trawler minigame, and much more fixes!

Lou Owner · Aug 15, 2026
MASSIVE GAMBLING EXPANSION, Fishing Trawler minigame, and much more fixes!

🎰 Massive Gambling Expansion:

GrinderScape's gambling content has received another massive expansion!

Players now have a huge variety of games available, ranging from competitive player-versus-player challenges to casino-style games and risk-versus-reward activities.

🎮 Games Board:

The Games Board provides a collection of head-to-head games where players can challenge one another using shared stakes.

Games Board matches support:

  • Shared item stakes.
  • Synchronized rounds.
  • Secured wagers.
  • Reconnect protection.
  • Server-authoritative outcomes.
  • Reliable match settlement.

⚔️ Runelink:

Challenge another player through one of the Games Board's competitive head-to-head games while your wager remains safely secured throughout the match.

🧩 Rune Grid:

Rune Grid provides another competitive Games Board challenge with synchronized rounds and protected stakes.

🔤 Rune Word Duel:

Rune Word Duel has received a massive content expansion.

The available word pool has increased from only 79 words to 591 RuneScape-themed words, covering:

  • Bosses.
  • Items.
  • Locations.
  • Skills.
  • Other RuneScape content.

This makes repeated words considerably less predictable and gives the game far more variety.

🚢 Gnome Fleet:

Gnome Fleet introduces a private-deployment naval duel to the Games Board, providing a completely different style of head-to-head gambling.

⚗️ Alchemist's Code:

Alchemist's Code is a simultaneous deduction race where both players attempt to solve the correct combination using exact and misplaced-reagent clues.

  • Clear 75-second countdown.
  • Cleaner reagent labels.
  • Reconnect protection.
  • Fair handling when a player leaves the arena.

🌋 TzHaar Lava Drop:

Release an ember through an eight-row basalt board using three different heat tables and watch where the ember lands.

The game features its own molten TzHaar-themed interface, animations, entrance audio, and dedicated landing sounds.

🐉 Dragonfire Hoard:

Enter the dragon's lair and attempt to steal treasure from a sleeping dragon.

After every successful theft, choose whether to escape with your growing hoard or risk another attempt for an even larger reward.

The Dragonfire Hoard interface includes custom:

  • Dragon artwork.
  • Fire effects.
  • Smoke effects.
  • Satchel artwork.
  • Announcements.

🔒 Games Board Wager Protection:

Games Board staking has been simplified to require one clear acceptance from each player, removing the unnecessary second confirmation screen.

Interrupted matches safely retain each player's exact offer until the final result has been stored.

Outstanding challenges also clear correctly when a player:

  • Leaves the gambling area.
  • Moves away.
  • Closes the invitation.
  • Begins another action.

🎰 Slot Machine:

The Slot Machine joins the expanding GrinderScape gambling floor!

Spin the reels and see whether luck is on your side.

Slot outcomes now have their own dedicated audio as part of the upgraded gambling sound system.

Spin the reels and chase the big win!

🌪️ Elemental Wheel:

Take your chances on the Elemental Wheel!

The Elemental Wheel has received a major presentation and audio upgrade, including:

  • Layered casino-style spinning audio.
  • Dedicated result sounds.
  • A unique victory flourish for winning results.
  • A dedicated cash-out reward jingle.
  • Improved entrance audio synchronized with its animation.

🎯 Gnome Shooter:

Gnome Shooter joins the growing collection of GrinderScape gambling games, giving players another completely different activity to try on the gambling floor.

With the gambling area continuing to expand, players now have far more choice in how they want to test their luck.

🎲 Five Additional Gambling Games:

Another major gambling wave introduced five additional games:

  • 💣 Mines.
  • 🔮 Rune Prophecy.
  • 🎲 Dwarven Dice Forge.
  • 🏰 Rune Tower.
  • 🎟️ Scratch & Win.

These games received custom interfaces, animations, sounds, wager protection, and reconnect recovery.

💣 Mines:

Choose excavation tiles, uncover valuable rewards, and avoid the hidden mines while increasing your potential payout.

🔮 Rune Prophecy:

Predict whether the next tablet will be higher or lower and decide when to secure your winnings.

Fate Shift result messaging has now been improved so it clearly distinguishes the tablet that was correctly predicted from the new omen that guides the player's next choice.

🎲 Dwarven Dice Forge:

Roll and reroll dice to build increasingly valuable combinations before deciding when to secure the payout.

🏰 Rune Tower:

Progress through the Rune Tower by opening safe chests while increasing your potential reward as the risk grows.

🎟️ Scratch & Win:

Use Scratch Tickets at the Gilded Fortune Table to reveal and keep rewards hidden inside a sealed Scratch & Win card.

🚢 Fishing Trawler Minigame:

Fishing Trawler is now live at Port Khazard!

Players can board Murphy's Fishing Trawler for shared five-minute voyages, with difficulty designed to remain manageable for solo players and smaller groups.

🔨 Keep The Trawler Afloat:

During each voyage, players build personal contribution by helping maintain and defend the ship.

  • Patch leaks.
  • Bail water from the lower hold.
  • Repair the fishing nets.
  • Repair damaged rails.
  • Fight enormous Kraken tentacles.

🌊 Improved Bailing:

Bailing has been corrected so water removal and contribution are counted when the bucket actually collects water from the hold, rather than when the full bucket is later emptied.

This makes contribution accurately match the moment the player actually helps remove water from the ship.

🌊 Improved Flooding:

Changes to the water level no longer interrupt sailors who are fighting the Kraken on the upper deck.

Flooding changes also no longer trigger unnecessary loading screens for players upstairs.

🕸️ Visible Net Damage:

The Fishing Trawler's large rear nets now visibly tear when damaged.

Repairing the nets with rope restores them to their intact visual state.

🐙 Kraken Defence:

Enormous Kraken tentacles can attack the upper deck and must be fought back while other sailors keep the vessel operational.

📊 Voyage Summaries:

Fishing Trawler now displays complete voyage information once all connected sailors have returned to Port Khazard.

The summary includes:

  • Contribution.
  • Activity.
  • Points.
  • Catches.
  • Rewards.

The successful-voyage announcement is displayed after the summaries.

Players who disconnect during the return journey have their result safely stored and receive the saved summary when they next log in at the Port Khazard dock.

🔌 Disconnect Protection:

Fishing Trawler return journeys now finish correctly even when the final sailor disconnects.

Each player's saved result remains available on their next login at Port Khazard.

🐾 Followers:

Fishing Trawler now gives the correct warning and refuses cats and other unsupported followers before departure.

Chaos Elemental Jr. retains its unusual permission to join the voyage.

🏜️ Sorceress's Garden:

Sorceress's Garden is now fully available!

Players who have completed Prince Ali Rescue can unlock Sorceress's Garden through Osman and the Apprentice.

Once the introduction has been completed, players can return whenever they like through the minigame teleport.

🌦️ Four Seasonal Gardens:

All four seasonal gardens are available:

  • ❄️ Winter Garden.
  • 🌸 Spring Garden.
  • 🍂 Autumn Garden.
  • ☀️ Summer Garden.

The gardens feature:

  • Shared elemental patrols.
  • Multiplayer catches.
  • Seasonal music.
  • Fruit trees.
  • Herb patches.
  • Sq'irkjuice.
  • Thieving rewards.
  • A chance to receive Rocky while picking fruit.

🍹 Sq'irkjuice Rewards:

Handing Sq'irkjuice to Osman now awards coins directly to the player's Money Pouch:

  • ❄️ Winter — 5M Coins.
  • 🌸 Spring — 12M Coins.
  • 🍂 Autumn — 26M Coins.
  • ☀️ Summer — 40M Coins.

Handing in at least five cups also awards Participation Points that scale with the size of the complete batch.

Qualifying XP and coin rewards are announced to the server.

🧙 Apprentice Access:

Both Apprentice locations now provide the same protected Garden dialogue and teleport journey after the required introduction has been completed.

🗺️ Teleport Improvements:

Sorceress's Garden remains visible inside the teleport menu.

Players who still need to complete Prince Ali Rescue or Osman's introduction are clearly told what remains before they can enter, while eligible players can teleport there directly.

👕 Guild Hunter Outfit:

Equipment hover information now correctly explains the full Guild Hunter outfit's:

  • Hunter Rumour catch-success benefits.
  • Rare-part guarantee benefits.

👕 Skilling Outfit Bonuses + They are available in store!

The Carpenter's Outfit and every colour of the Raiments of the Eye now grant their intended experience bonuses.

  • Carpenter's Outfit grants its intended Construction XP bonus.
  • Raiments of the Eye grant their intended Runecrafting XP bonuses.
  • The active total is displayed inside the Equipment Effects panel.

Equipment hover tooltips also show the correct Construction XP bonus provided by each individual Carpenter outfit piece.

📜 Prince Ali Rescue Improvements:

Prince Ali Rescue preparation dialogue has been improved.

Ned, Aggie, Phillipa, and Osman now clearly explain:

  • Which materials the player needs.
  • What the player should do next.

🏪 Store Changes:

Store promotions no longer advertise or award Premium Points.

Limited-time promotions now provide only the remaining non-points rewards.

Item Upgrade Kit is now available in the store (Allows you to upgrade any item to tier 10).

Upgrade crest is now available in the store; it guarantees your next upgrade will succeed, and it will be consumed.

🛠️ Starter Path Improvements:

The Starter Path support objective has been fixed.

Using: ::help now correctly completes the support step and opens the community support link.

🐞 Additional Bug Fixes:

  • Fixed Phantom Muspah's thorn knockback placing players inside arena icicles.

  • Disconnected Trawler participants receive their stored result when they next log in.
  • Fishing Trawler bailing contribution is now counted when the water is collected.
  • Fishing Trawler water changes no longer interrupt combat upstairs.
  • Fishing Trawler flooding no longer causes unnecessary loading screens upstairs.
  • Fishing Trawler rear nets now visibly show their damaged and repaired states.
  • Rune Prophecy Fate Shift messaging now separates the previous correct prediction from the next omen.
  • Ready hops now correctly display their Harvest option.
  • Seed Vault full-stack withdrawals no longer leave null or overlapping grid entries.

🌪️ Balance Elemental Community Boss:

The Balance Elemental has arrived as a shared multi-combat community boss.

Cash redemptions contribute toward a persistent $250 community event meter.

The game announces how much remains until the next encounter, and additional encounters are queued when the community reaches multiple milestones.

::elementalboss

while an encounter is active or preparing to travel directly to its non-Wilderness event arena.

⚔️ Balance Elemental Forms:
