Gameplay Fixes, Combat Updates & Website Activity Sync Improvements

Hello everyone,

We’ve pushed a large batch of fixes, quality-of-life improvements, combat adjustments, website account activity improvements, and upgraded item handling updates. This update focuses heavily on improving stability, fixing edge cases, cleaning up gameplay systems, and making sure more in-game progress can appear properly on the website account panel and public profiles.

Bug Fixes

  • Improved progress-save handling so unlocks and similar actions are less likely to cause brief world delays.
  • Improved logout handling so players logging out are less likely to cause brief world delays.
  • Fixed a Chambers of Xeric reward chest issue where some completed raids could show an empty chest and miss the completion message.
  • Fixed a bug where completing Chambers of Xeric could open an empty reward chest instead of granting the raid reward.
  • Fixed a bug where the leather crafting window could ignore item choices and fail to close.
  • Adjusted skilling tasks so bulk skilling shortcuts such as Forge Flood advance task progress by one action instead of every item made at once.
  • Fixed a bug where marble gargoyles could auto-smash with the Slayer unlock but could not be manually finished with a hammer.
  • Fixed a bug where Warriors' Guild room restrictions could keep blocking member utility perks after dying near Glod or leaving the guild unexpectedly.
  • Fixed a bug where certain upgraded items were not properly consumed during item transformations such as imbuing, poisoning, cleaning, or dismantling.
  • Fixed a bug where Hunter trap catches could appear as Construction XP instead of updating Hunter progress.
  • Fixed a bug where the Courier Satchel perk could return unnoted items from several thieving stalls, including gem, miscellaneous, baker, silk, fur, and spice stalls.
  • Fixed a bug where multi-target ancient spells such as Ice Barrage could fail to hit nearby pests while defending the Void Knight.
  • Fixed a bug where Ring of suffering recoil charges could still be consumed while Eternal Charges was active.
  • Fixed a bug where valuable loot keys could not be destroyed after moving into the Wilderness.
  • Fixed a bug where loot keys could remain after their chest contents were claimed.
  • Improved Trading Post and shop handling so special item versions are not accepted as normal copies.
  • Fixed a bug where Endless Quiver ranged attacks could calculate a lower max hit when the best usable arrows or bolts were not equipped.
  • Fixed a bug where the eco-ai modules could offer Antisanta's coal box for sale.
  • Fixed a bug where random events could interrupt raid encounters and move players away from Theatre of Blood or Chambers of Xeric.
  • Fixed a bug where starter combat setups could show Unarmed in the combat tab after tutorial tabs were restored.
  • Fixed a bug where Onyx bolts (e) could remove existing overhealed Hitpoints instead of preserving the boosted health.
  • Fixed a bug where pending Slayer Arbiter assignment choices could change after reconnecting before a task was selected. Prepared choices now remain consistent until one is chosen.
  • Fixed a bug where Wyrms and Drakes could trigger boss-only League Point rewards and effects even though they are Slayer monsters.
  • Fixed a bug where Porazdir could retreat or reset when one target moved away even though other players were still nearby in the fight.
  • Fixed a bug where Scythe of vitur (emberfall) could fail to perform its scythe sweep follow-up hits like other scythe variants.
  • Fixed a bug where the Fishing master cape could keep fishing going with one free inventory slot by dropping doubled catches instead of filling the inventory.
  • Fixed a bug where Slayer helmet options from the worn equipment tab could fail to open task checks, partner status, the Slayer log, or helmet teleports.
  • Fixed a bug where redeeming bundle purchases could skip or cover the reward-choice prompt. Players should now be able to choose their bundle rewards before the confirmation prompt appears.
  • Fixed a bug where starter combat setups could attack as unarmed until the weapon was unequipped and re-equipped. Selected combat setups should now work immediately.
  • Fixed a bug where upgraded magic-damage gear did not properly increase magic damage bonuses. Upgraded magic gear now keeps its fractional magic-damage gains.
  • Fixed an issue where Evil Bob could remain visible after the ScapeRune random event intro if a player disconnected during the event timing.
  • Improved several random event and clue NPC cleanup paths so temporary event NPCs are less likely to remain visible after disconnects or interrupted event timing.

Upgraded Item Fixes

  • Insured upgraded items are now held by Perdu for reclaim after non-Wilderness deaths, while Wilderness deaths still remove the insurance and follow normal Wilderness risk.
  • Expanded Fusion Forge matching so more custom variants can use the correct normal-family sacrifices, including attacker icons, Wilderness champion amulets, corrupted volatile nightmare staves, same-slot Masori variants, and supported Tumeken shadow variants.
  • Fixed a bug where adding normal items to the Party Room could take an upgraded same-id copy and return it as a normal item. Upgraded and special-data items are now blocked from the party chest.
  • Improved Price Checker item handling so upgraded item data is preserved when moving items in and out.
  • Fixed a bug where upgraded Dragonfire shields, Dragonfire wards, and Ancient wyvern shields could lose their upgrade tier when being charged, emptied, or fully drained.
  • Fixed overlapping text in the upgraded item insurance detail panel when checking insured items.
  • Fixed the upgraded item insurance interface so newly insured items appear in the Insured Items pane and the Info menu opens correctly.
  • Fixed a client error that could appear when opening Perdu's upgraded item insurance interface.
  • Fixed the upgraded item insurance interface so it fits fixed-mode clients without cutting off the lower controls.
  • Improved Perdu's upgraded item insurance reclaim handling so saved reclaim records refresh safely after relogging and repeated reclaim attempts cannot return the same item twice.
  • Fixed a bug where loading presets could use upgraded copies when the preset asked for a normal item with the same base item.
  • Fixed a bug where upgraded items could conflict with normal copies of the same item in banks, causing spare normal copies to appear missing or merge incorrectly.
  • Fixed a bug where noting or un-noting could remove upgrade, charge, or other special item data. These items are now left unchanged.
  • Players can now upgrade Kodai wand (caramel) and Twisted bow (masori) using matching Fusion Forge sacrifices from their normal item families, while charged (c) copies are rejected.
  • Players can now see upgraded equipment particle effects on nearby players, making higher-tier gear easier to recognize socially.

Combat & Bosses

  • Chambers of Xeric and Theatre of Blood completions now award 10-20 League Points for Demonic Pacts progression.
  • Slayer task completions now award 3-6 League Points for Demonic Pacts progression.
  • Adjusted Pest Control portal defences so portals are slightly less resistant to player attacks.
  • Adjusted Sigil of barrows so Barrows weapon attacks against NPCs now gain +20% accuracy and +10% damage.

Website Account & Activity Improvements

  • Players with unread account inbox messages now receive an in-game login reminder so important announcements are easier to notice.
  • Improved website account activity updates so Zalcano, Fun Event Boss, Voting Boss, and Wilderness Spirit completions can appear on account and profile pages after they happen in game.
  • Improved website account activity updates so raid completions, minigame wins, task completions, PvP kills, and killstreak milestones can appear on account and profile pages after they happen in game.
  • Improved website account activity updates so vote streak rewards, server vote milestones, voting events, and Well of Goodwill highlights can appear on account and profile pages after they happen in game.
  • Improved achievement account updates so completed achievements can appear with clearer progress and point details on the website account panel.
  • Adjusted website account highlights so notable unlocks and high-tier upgrades can appear while routine session activity stays out of profile highlights.

Quality of Life

  • Improved PK bot overhead chatter in safe and shallow Wilderness areas so nearby lines read more naturally while staying out of the public chatbox.
  • Adjusted skilling task bonus rewards so very small skilling point tasks no longer grant League points.
